27th Miss Boro Pageant comes to Yen City in May

Beauty, they say, is only skin deep and it would come to Yen City in May 2026. It appears to be a show of beauty but also of brain, right in the eyes of the beholder. This is put together by the CEO/Director of Miss Boro Pageant, Miss Ebiere Appah, an annual beauty shows to immortalize the late Niger Delta freedom fighter, Major Jasper Adaka Boro. Already, Miss Favor Preye Komonibo, according to Appah has been officially confirmed as representative of “Glory of all Lands” Bayelsa state at the 27th Miss Boro Edition, in May 2026. She is a 400 level Nursing student of Niger Delta University, Amassoma, Bayelsa state. She’s also former Queen of NDU in 2004. Favour is passionate about health education and saving lives, and dedicated to promoting disease prevention and empowering individuals, especially women and young people, to take charge of their health.
